Scoring sheet

This free online instrument was developed by Reed Mencke Ph.D and Stacey Hartman M.A. of the University Learning Center, University of Arizona, to assist college students in the development of effective study strategies. This tool generates the findings of individual learning preference in three categories - Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic.

What are the main features

The key characteristics of this tool include:
  • A 27-item questionnaire.
  • Generates a diagnostic of learning preference based on user response.
  • Availability of scoring sheet for analysis.

How do I implement it?

The assessment can be administered online or on paper. Scoring sheet is available for analysis of group results.

What does it measure?

The instrument measures the learning preference of the respondent by reporting the scores, on a scale of 1 to 45, corresponding to the three different learning styles (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic). A high score on a learning mode indicates a user's strong preference and vice versa.
